Lazarus Project raises awareness and funds for injured, traumatized veterans

When the Lazarus Project began less than a year ago, the problem was getting the word out to traumatized combat veterans that there was a new resource for those needing counseling and support.

As we near Veterans Day 2011, it brings mixed emotions for me. The day is always filled with things like flags, parades and other outward and very public signs of thanks for veterans.
